Question '01 Tacoma errors

Recently after no trouble in 4 years of ownership the check emgine light came on.. I noticed the power steering fluid was low, so I filled and reset the battery. Check engine light was off briefly then came back on. I took it to the auto parts store today and they hooked it up to the machine and this is what they told me was wrong:

*Closed Loop Fuel Control
*Insufficient Coolant Temp
*Fuel/Air Metering Manufacturer Control

Any info on what I need to get to replace these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes when the check engine light comes on you might just have a bad gas cap seal. Based upon the readings sounds like you might have a bad O2 sensor or a bad mass flow sensor.

Definitely not a gas cap problem. Bad HO2S would throw other codes. MAF wouldn't throw an insufficient coolant temp sensor.

This almost sounds like a stuck open thermostat. As mentioned, we need the actual codes (P0xx) rather than a description. It could also be a bad coolant temp sensor. Again, if we knew what the codes are we could narrow it down greatly. Some codes are set when the temperature doesn't rise a certain amount in a specified amount of time (thermostat monitor). If the ECT is bad, it could possibly not register change and set the code.

Again, we need all the Pxxx style codes.
