Quieter after big 3 upgrade???

I performed the big 3 upgrade to my truck the other weekeend. THis is where you run a wire from the ground to the engine, then to the body and a hot wire from the alternator to the + of the battery.

Since my truck is quieter, headlights and off road piaa lamps are brighter and fuel economy gained a mpg.

99.99% placebo. Upgrading the power wires would only do a couple things: make your starter spin 1-2% faster due to better electron transfer through the new ground cable, increase the output voltage at 100% alternator load about the same amount, and really nothing else.

Unless you had some SERIOUS problems which you would notice otherwise, nothing changed.

I can get photos this weekend.

I just bought 3 pieces of 4 guage wire with terminals. A short ft piece to the hot side of the alternator to the hot side of the battery, a 16 inch piece from the ground to the super charger, then a 2 ft piece from the batttery ground to body.

Yeah, head lights and driving lights are brighter and do not dim when I come to a complete stop. Its quieter and fuel economy went up a mpg.

No, but I am starting to believe all that jdm ricer bullshoot on the ricer forums about grounding kits and better engine performance.

put up some pics- if it helps the headlights it'll be a worthwhile mod.. price is right anyways
