Default Bilstein 5100's

Guys I've looked at every 5100 thread I can find and I haven't found the answer i'm looking for. I just ordered 5100's for the front and rear of my 03 4x4 TRD O/R along with steering rack and sway bar bushings. I'm looking to level the truck so I'm planning to have them installed in the middle slot on the strut. From what I understand this will lift the truck about 1 inch. Question is, Do I have to do anything else to the truck? Drop the diff? control arms etc? I've read that there are problems aligning the later 05 and up trucks with this minor lift. Is this a problem on the 03? Anyone experience wandering or stability problems?

Default Re: Bilstein 5100's

well 05's suspension is obviously way different. on a 98' taco I have 2.5" spacers in my coils and a 1/2" spacer plate and the thing is still aligned beautifully after a year of offroading and jumping curbs at 30 MPH. Either les schwab really outdid themselves, or it's a good alignment system toyota designed.
Go to les schwab, all alignments cost about 70 bucks... might as well get a lasting alignment!
Differential drop wouldn't hurt, it will make your CV's last longer, but I wouldn't say you have to.
