so...no locking diff for automatics??

i bought an extended cab tacoma about a month ago...and i really like it.

i do take it offroad to go mountainbiking, but it's 99% on the highway carrying me to work and back.

i was contemplating trading it for a 4 door tacoma. the ones i looked at were all trd packaged, but with auto transimissions. i didn't notice anywhere that it said locking rear differential. i'm taking it that it's not available on the auto trans??

I have a double cab auto with a rear locking differential on it, it came with the Package that I got on the truck......

really? thanks for the info! i just noticed it was conspicuously missing from the detail description on the automatics with the trd package, whereas it was very plainly in the description on the manuals.....

all TRD packaged Doublecabs have the electric locker,doublecabs are only available in auto.

ok. i misread the description on the toyota website. it says that 4 cylinder automatic prerunners and 4x4 are not available with the locker. read that to mean that 4 cylinders and all prerunners. thanks!!
