Default 01-04 frame coating recomendations

I have a 2003 Tacoma and live in one of the magic rust-0-matic states. I need to take my truck in for the required inspection. Since my frame is still in good shape, they are supposed to be applying a rust resistant coating and I would like to find a dealer who will do the job right. I know they all should do the same quality work, but reality sometimes varies.

My nearest dealers are in central Massachusetts, specifically, Herb Chambers in Auburn and Harr in Worcester. I might also consider taking it back to where I purchased it in Nashua, NH.

Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with any of these dealers? Ideally regarding the frame coating process, but in general would be helpful too.

I am a huge fan of the Por15 products. I am currently working with KBS coatings at the moment. The process mimics Por15 so I am hoping for similiar results.

Have Fun!!

POR-15 painting requires prep work and makes a mess unless you have some sort of professional set up to do the work, plus if not done right can cause more harm then good. You are better off buying about 6-8 cans of Fluid Film and pressure washing the entire under carriage, let it dry, then coat the entire undercarriage before the winter with this stuff. Fluid film works on any existing oxidation, as well as protects your undercarraige from future corrossion. Do this ritual annually and your undercarriage will stay looking virtually new.
