have an 02 Doublecab 4x4 TRD package in white with 7,000 miles.Needed a truck with four real doors(I have 2 big 13 year old boys)and thats still sporty and agile around town.I dont know how many times I said Im glad I didnt get a bigger truck when Im in a tight parking spot.It also leaves me alot more room in the garage .Bedard check out TacomaTerritory for more Taco info than you'll ever need.
Just traded my 02 Tundra for a Tacoma. I hope the Tacoma will be as durable as my old 91 was, because the Tundra didnt even come close. Very dissappointed with the Tundra. Had more problems than all of my previous Toyotas combined. Hopefully they can get it together and maybe someday I will buy another,its a great truck. Just not what I expected from Toyota quality.

Replaced my 89 4x4 cuz the kids were just gettin too big.
So far love the new one but it's too nice to take into the places the 89 went. Wish I'd held onto the old one for beating around!
Replaced a 2000 Tundra Limited that gave me constant problems with the brakes. Had it in the shop (7) times in less than 30,000 miles. Also had to replace the tranny. The Taco is not as big and doesn't have the power of the Tundra but I love this truck!
I bought a Impulse Red 03 Prerunner V6 Xtra Cab TRD 3 days ago, it had 13 miles on it. It still has only 70 miles on it. This is the only time in my life that I wished I had a longer drive to work everyday!
I've gots me a '02 Tacoma Prerunner 3.4L V6 TRD. Lunar Mist Silver w/ the color key matched fenders, handles, front/rr bumpers. All the bells and whistles w/o the sunroof. Already racked up 30k of trouble free miles...
Traded in my 2002 Tundra with all of its problems for a 2003 prerunner V6 doublecab. Glad I did. Only annoying thing so far is the dash rattles and squeaks. Will have them perform the TSB for same at next oil change though. Great little truck.
