1Gen-TacomaGeneral discussion forum for the 1995 to 2004 Toyota Tacoma.
This is a discussion thread titled "carpeted bed", within the 1Gen-Tacoma forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
tonight i spotted a 6x8' roll of carpet for $15 at home depot, so i bought it and put it in my bed. i've got a bed liner (waiting to replace with line-x) and a rubber mat that i used as a template for the carpet.
i should add that i have a camper shell over all this. i think i could sleep in there since it's a lot harder to feel the grooves of the liner now. if i like it enough when i'm camping i might upgrade to a nicer rug (shag or berber). anyone else done this?
I love my bed rug, its great and padded enough the ribs leave ya alone.
