Red face Mirror problem

My passenger side rearview mirror was hit pretty bad thus causing it to fold and the glass piece itself popped. I was able to pop it back but now it won't move when you try to control it . Any expert here who knows how to troubleshoot this issue? I checked the wiring that's plugged into the back of the glass and they seem to be intact. I have a feeling it will be costly if I have the dealer check it. Any advise is greatly appreciated.
