First off, first post, love the place and love the information!!! I been here before I bought my truck and think that what ya all do is fantastic!!!! Thanks!!
Now then.....
I think I found a heck of a deal but I am concerned with a warranty....
2003 Tundra with TRD/SR5 4x4 Off road package. 4.7 V8 and it is a extended cab with the two rear doors that open to the rear. Has a glasstight color matched fiberglass cap on it with a bed rug in it as well. I took the bed rug part way out and there is no chance that there was ever anything in the bed. Came with a towing package and there is already an electric brake controller on it. There is also air assist air bags on it that have a compressor that is adjustable from the cab. I know the guy had a bike trailor with a heavy tounge weight and put these bags on in late 05'. Came with brand new cooper tires on it as well as
running boards. (step rails)
There is also a K&N high flow filter and air tube installed. Sounds real kewl when you get into the throttle but it is the sound of fuel buring away very fast...
Truck has 24,000 miles on it and to say the least, I am very pleased. Silver or pewter if you prefer. Every oil change, tire rotation, extra part, recall was recorded and with the truck.
I will post some pics once I get some taken
questions
1. Does the origanal 5 year 60,000 mile form toyota transfer to me. Cant get a straight answer from anyone
2. I bough it form a chevy dealer. The GM warranty was rediculous. I passed on it. Is there anyway to get a personal truck toyota certified
3. Does anyone believe that the extended warranty is even worth it?
4. Most important... how can I get more gas mileage? Not bad enough to complain but I am curious... I am getting about 16.5 to 17 with a mixture of highway and city. Plus, I was in the throttle alot to see what she will do... WOW!!!! will she ever do!!
Thanks for any input!!!
