I checked the dealer and I don't want to put out the $$.

They said they would install an aftermarket one for an hours labour.

I'm thinking of going with a Poron talking unit.

I picked one up off ebay. I have 4 front and 4 rear sensors and a little Monitor. I think I paid $45 and installed myself.

I really like it and use it daily. I've come to rely on it in the past 6 months.

Sorry finally found the link...... His prices went up from a year ago but, this link (*) is the guy and model I bought off ebay.

I only drilled the back bumper, on the front I just put them into the lower grill (the honeycomb part)

I did it with my dad and uncle (beond profectionists) and it only took 2 or so hours (once we figured where to mount and run the wires. Easy to follow instructions

Ever since I backed into car in a parking lot, I have noticed lots of trucks (all makes) that have a little dimple in the driver's side rear bumper just like me. There's a bunch of 'em out there.

$80 bucks for what looks like a nice weekend project looks a lot better than the $800 I had to pay to fix a coworkers POS Skylark.

Please try out your system for a couple of months and post a report.

Well, I've had mine for about 9 or 10 months. My opinion is: I'm happy with my unit. For the $50 or so dollars I spent it's well worth the $$. I do get a false reading out of one sensor when I put the truck into reverse. However, I found that if ONLY one sensor is picking something up there's nothing there. I've never had a false reading when it counts

Lastly, I fall into the catagory of: small dent on the drivers side rear bumper. Happened before I got the sensors
