Default Broke 1 side of Rear sliding window, any suggestions? Power slider, anyone have extr

I have gathered that I will have to buy the entire back glass. So why not just get a power slider? How much are they and where is a good place to buy them, and can I install one myself. Local shops want $250 for the regular back glass, 315 installed.

This sucks cause only the right side is broken and looks like it could be replaced.

Any ideas are appreciated. I have not seen a power slider anywhere but recall seeing on here somewhere that someone purchased one for around $150.

Thanks very much for any input.

Oh yeah, I would also be willing to purchase anyone's old glass or pay shipping and handling or whatever you want.

Worth a try. What I did on my slider in my desert truck is went to the depot and baught some Tinted lexan. Cut to the correct shape and installed. Now it wont break and looks perfect.

You could also check some wrecking yards. Maybe they have a window with the correct panel in it.
