ive been driving this truck since it was brand new and I can tell when anything has changed better or worse and i know this intake has added performance im happy with it for sure
It is very true the K&N compromises some of its filtering abilities to get better flow, but if you drive in areas which are not very dusty, such as fully paved clean city streets etc, you can get away with a K&N. The K&N plugs up very quickly though, and has to be cleaned often or they will become more restrictive than a paper filter. I would never use a K&N in dusty areas, such as on my ATV.
