I just had my 20,000 mile service on my 06 DC XSP. I was talking with the service writer about the average mileage he saw XSP owners getting out of there 20" tires. He said about 18,000 miles, taking into consideration air pressure, driving habit, balancing, alignment, etc.
I am riding on Continental Cross Contact 295 45 ZR20 and it appears I will get 25,000 out of them. I was just wondering what other members are getting out of their 20" tires?

My '04 LTD TSS came with Goodyear GSA tires, 275/45 20 ... got about 38,000 out of 'em. Replaced 'em with Avon "Tech ST" 275/45 20's ... I'm hoping to get 40,000 outta the Avons.
I've got Michellin Pilot's on mine. You'll never get more than 30,000 on factory tires especially 20's. Your best bet is to buy a good set when you replace them, don't go with factory. I learned that the hard way with my S-10. I will never buy Goodyear tires again. I like Firestone Firehawk Indy 500, and they a 50k or 60K tire.

Yeah I only got like 20k good miles out of my factory 16's.But I pushed them till I found them 20in deep six wheels that everybody likes.
20,000 & i pushed it on bfgoodrich gforce radial T/A's. more like 18,000.
and i rotated them ever 2500 miles with the oil change.
and kept the tire pressure the same all the time.
i checked it every 10days.
mostly city street driving, very little highway.

I got over 40K on my Continental Cross Contact 295 45 ZR20 but I think I should have replaced them around 35K. I did rotate them every 5K miles during each oil change.
I'm now rolling on Michellin Racing Slicks at 27,000. Gonna have to breakdown and bite the bullet soon. Thinking of getting a beefier tire and hoping to get more milieage.
I had 12K on my michelins before I lifted the truck and put bigger tires. I still have the michelins if anybody needs a set. I'd get rid of the whole set for $250.
