    Default HID help H4 hi/low

    Hello All,

I was looking forward to my HID, finally got it, but when I installed it, it doesnt light up. Only the high beam comes up and not the low beam, which I obviously need. Please let me know what I should look for, or is the kit defective??

    Thanks.

Most H4 HID kits are not high/low. If the kit is high/low it is usually HID Low and Halogen High. There are kits out there that are HID High/Low, the bulb itself is on a actuator the moves the bulb forward and back in the headlight assembly to give you the High/Low beam. These kits are usually quite a bit more expensive than regular HID kits.

Had The Same Problem With My Truck. Installed The Low Beam Hid's Then My High Beams And Fog Lights Stoped Working. The Thing Is. You Have To Get A High/low Beam Kit For The Tundra. It S A Bit More Expensive But You'll Need This In Order To Keep Your High/low Beams And Fog (if You Have Equipped) Working. Make Sure You Get The 3 Prog Connector. Hope This Helps. :d

Hello, the connector is 3 prong, just no idea why the low beam wouldnt work. I had Hid on my integra, and it was a plug and play, no issue like this.

GRON86, you mentioned that you installed low beam hid's, i have both, so I dont think its the same issue. I will post the link to my hid later since I am working on this at the moment.
