1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "200k club thred - 100k is great but just broke in", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I have posted a time or 2 about my ´99 Sonoma with 220k on it now (still my daily driver)....GM did replace the tranny for my free of charge at 70k miles. I bought a Tundra because I expect it to last much longer.
I have seen a couple posts about members with more than 200k miles, can you guys post here with the repairs that have been incurred so far and how your Tundra is holding up? I´ll be keeping this truck until the wheels fall off (long way to go, 19k on my ´06)
Re: 200k club thred - 100k is great but just broke in
I think you're right about the Tundras being just broke in at 100K miles....mine has 102K on it and it's running so good I'm afraid to change the timing belt! Yeah.....but I will soon enuf....then in a couple of years I'll join the 200K club!

I am getting ready to turn 300K on my 2001 Tundra...no major problems really...replaced the starter...brakes, and now I need a transmission...looking forward to getting that changed and then put another 300K on it...
Re: 200k club thred - 100k is great but just broke in
Not exactly a Tundra but a 93 T-100. I got within 7k miles of 200k but the head gasket blew for the second time :-( After getting a few quotes to fix it, I decided to sell it and buy a 03 Tundra instead. I had the T-100 fo 10+ years and was attached to it and didn't really want to give it up UNTIL I drove the 03, lol. MAN what a nice truck! Anyway, the new truck has only 64k and I hope it make at least 200k. I keep my trucks until they arn't worth fixing.

Re: 200k club thred - 100k is great but just broke in
not a Tundra, but my father has a 95 T100 with the 3.4 V6 in it, at approx. 320,000 miles. Original Engine, Trans, and Diff. Along with original Trans fluid, and Rear Diff fluid. Been through 2 sets of front brakes, and one set of rears, along with spark plugs and engine oil. Thats it. Everything works, along with AC.
Re: 200k club thred - 100k is great but just broke in
i feel left out that I only drove 26,000 miles in the 7 months i've owned my truck! haha keep on truckin guys! oh, and drive it like you stole it. the 4.7 is much more fun above 3000 rpms!
