Exclamation Re: Switching to Missiles

If you have daytime running lights, you could use
the switch to turn them on and off. randall

OK Here I finally put the pics in my gallery.

I'm enjoying the missile switch. Showed it to a Lt. Col. today. He thought it was really funny. Told me an urban legend about an Airman that put an ECM pod in his car and fried cop radar.

You can have a function for the switch if you want to mod the cargo light. (change conditions when light goes on or is turned off.) Search cargo light modification.

That'd be the new T-6 Texan II.

Really cool plane. That was an incentive ride I got to go on. Picture a combination of a P-51 and Corsair but lighter and with a jet turbo prop. It fly's like it's on rails.

Nice looking switch! Where can I get one?
I'm going to paint some cardboard tubes white and glue some plastic fins on them and mount them on the roof of my 06 DC.....probably wouldn't be a good idea for you having to drive on base though....I seem to remeber that SP's dont have much of a sense of humor.

Security Forces have a great sense of humor. They even like the missile switch. What they don't like is a bazooka subwoofer that looks like a NOS bottle.

In the age of IEDs, I was warned that would not be a good idea at the gate.

Just think folks, in a few years, this guy will be flying the 747 that you will be riding in! (Actually, I kinda like the idea.)

Cool, now hook that switch up to a servo that will activate the trigger on a paint ball gun mounted behind the grill. Awesome way to pay people back and fun too. Get the servo at any hobby shop.

Only .50's? 20 Mike Mike will move the dead cars out of your way for you too!

(of course the GAU-8 from an A-10 will beat a fresh path through anything!)

When you have a passenger, and of course you know they are gonna ask about that switch, Just tell them it is the only thing keeping the free world free!

file014 may have some regrets.
Default Re: Switching to Missiles

You could wire some extra lights to that switch. I considered those when I put in my grill and fog lights, but doesnt have an indicator light. I ended up using rocker switches with blue (bumper) and green (grill) LED's. I installed them on that little plate next to the switch blanks. Much easier to mod that little panel. Not sure if a doublecab has that plate though.
