Lightbulb TSB online (Technical Service Bulletins)

I've found a nice way to get all your TSBs online, the best way, FREE.
This is for any vehicle year, make, model. Not just Toyota. Here's how:

1. First go here: http://www.aboutautomobile.com/tsb

2. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

3. Find your vehicle year. click it

4. Next find your vehicle make/model. click it

(optional steps)
5. Copy/paste the NHTSA No.

6. Go to this website: http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/tsbs/tsbsearch.cfm

7. Paste the NHTSA No. into the blank that says NHTSA Item Number. search

You'll get a brief description from NHTSA, it'll help you in your searching, not so much repairing. I hope this helps!

Regards,
Tundradrenalin

Default Re: TSB online (Technical Service Bulletins)

A Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) is a communication between Toyota and its dealerships that can serve as an update to Toyota publications, describe parts updates, or relay enhanced or new service procedures. Service procedures may explain diagnostic steps, implementation of recommended updates, or how to perform certain repairs.

Repairs that are outlined in a TSB are usually only performed when a customer reports a specific problem with their vehicle and the TSB identifies a fix/solution to that specific problem. Warranty repair is covered under the applicable Toyota Warranty if in effect.

Default Re: DIY (Do-It-Yourself) & User Knowledgebase

Great site for FREE DIY Info dedicated to Toyota, Lexus and Scion. Includes detailed part numbers for reference!

http://www.toyodiy.com/

Just type in your VIN!!

The Fine Print:
This section provides detailed part number information, which can be helpful when ordering parts from your dealer, and to determine the total cost of your repairs. This is not an online store; the prices are approximate retail prices, and provided for reference purposes only. You cannot order parts from this site. Important! The part numbers are gathered from various sources and are not an exact copy of the electronic parts catalog. All part numbers and diagrams are provided for information purposes only, in accordance with the “fair use” laws. The data provided is not guaranteed to be accurate; you should always confirm the information with your dealer.
