Not bad gains, but doesn't seem too great. What surprises me is that the correction factor is set to 1.0, which means they aren't running any correction. Typically the software calculates a correction factor so you can corelate running number to sea level at normal temps/humidity. All the dyno's i've used, from DynoJet, SuperFlow, and Mustang all did this. Wonder why that shop didn't use a correction?
Here is the results of a dyno from Doug Thorley of a truck before and after header install, otherwise completely stock.
Now that I have them I can rule the world!
Well maybe not.
Need more power.
Sorry, just could not help myself.
Congrats on your mods helping your power and posting your results for all to see.
All you need now is a little Forced Induction to make those #'s jump way up.

Gorilla, he was just saying that most dyno shops use a different correction factor. Glad to see the graph up, looks good! Remember, keep it shiny side up

yes, i already have asked the shop to get some total #'s ( price's)to do either a turbo, twin turbo or nos 100shot.
why because if my friend can't get my speed and rev limitor disabled, i have to do something.
please NYCtundra08 help me sooooooon. ;-)
gorilla
Gorilla I am very pleased to see your graph! looks like some pretty good gains.
Have you considered talkin to boosted Tundra's about some cams? You might have to talk to unichip about that as well. Different cam profile will need it to be retuned.
Hope to see it get better over time!
Congrats man

If you even think about turbo, nos or supercharger then you would have to build the bottom end of that motor. You will sling a rod with all that extra crap on your engine. And since you like to spend your money on your truck, might as well stroke it to either 5.0, 5.3 or 5.5. (i think thats what the liters are)
those numbers are posted for rwhp. The 326 or watever he said was power at the crank or engine if you will. There is about a 25% drivetrain loss to the wheels I believe? My dyno showed about 230 rwhp, but on my SG2 the highest power output that I put down so far was 319 HP.

I am not great at reading dyno results unless they are spelled out for me....
But here is what I see...
The torque numbers are the same as the truck with just headers (unless a correction factor was applied that I dont know about) if not slightly less, and there is a gain in HP amounting to about 20. Am I reading this right???
