Question 2005 tundra and tire reset button

Ok, I want some rims for my truck (05 DC LTD)

But this damn tire pressure sensor thing bugs me. I have never seen this light in action (probably cuz I look at my tire pressures frequently)

If I buy a set of rims that have no tire pressure sensors, can I somehow disable with a press of this reset button?

Any suggestions besides buying more sensors or exchanging them from tire to tire?

If you do a search for TPMS, you will find a very good write up of how to perform it.

If the ones in your rims fit the new rims change them over to the new rims. When I put new rims on mine the stock ones did not fit and I bought new ones to go in the new rims. There are many post out there about different options if you do away with the TPS. None of the ones I have seen are hassle free though.

Ive dealt with mine for two summers now, but I think im going to unhook the TPMS computer when I put my rims back on. It does get annoying. Search and as the others have said you will find many options.
