1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "new bumpers...what do you think?", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I only have a leveling kit and the front barely dipped (less than 1/4"). The bumper is like 180lbs they told me. Its not that heavy and the rear I think was 90lbs. Price was reasonable, and they look great.
I love how the bars look...but I agree kind of that they are a bit much. I almost didn't get any, but if I take out a deer, the extra $700 will have been worth it...ya know? It did look great w/o the bars though, and it did fit the truck a little better but oh well, to late now.
Does anyone else have bumpers for the Tundra on here? I want to see what other have...

IMHO it looks like the 120 head of mule deer living on my road would need to watch out for me.
It would be a nice change, second year in a row our subaru has killed a kritter at the tune of 3500 this year and 5500 last, bringing our total out of pocket to 1K
Then again I'm a function not a fashion sort a guy.
