I just replaced this on my double cab drivers door. The part number was 75720-0C010 and was called a "Moulding Assembly, FR". The list price at the dealership for this part was over $100. The parts guy said the same part for the extended cab was around $35.

On the double cab this part fits under the mirror. When I replaced the moulding on mine, I had the mirror off anyway to tighten it up. I am not sure how easy the moulding comes off with the mirror on. It may slip right out from under the mirror once you pop the moulding assembly off of the plastic clips.

I have an 02 Tundra V8.

The molding side closest to the mirror it seems it sits under the ruberr molding of the mirror. Does the mirror need to be removedd?? Or its not a big deal to tuck it into the rubber trim of the mirrror?? please explain!!

No the mirror doesn't require to be removed just pop the molding out and pop a new one in and your done simple as that

I am so glad I stumbled across this post. I just ordered the parts ($55 total with shipping) and they should be here by the end of the week! I can hardly wait.

UPDATE:.......just put the molding on. Took five minutes.
I do not recommend the use of a screwdriver to pry the molding up. We all know how thin the Toyota paint is and the screwdriver gave me a reminder. Just grab the molding with your hands (or a pair of pliers) and give it a good pull.

It also seems that when you install it you also have to make sure that you start by pushing the molding a little bit (1/4 inch) under the front side window trim molding for it to line up correctly at both ends. See the arrow in the pic.

Looks 1000 times better with the new molding!!!!
Now just finish it off with some 303 and you are good to go for a while!
