LED bulb replacement

Hi All-

I searched all over and could not find anything on this. I have a Snugtop Super Sport canopy on my 06 DC. The brake light on the canopy has about 20 LED bulbs. Several of the bulbs have gone out and the retailer has told me they cannot be replaced; I have to purchase a whole new light for about $50! Does anyone have any knowledge on if just the LEDs can be replaced? If so, where can I purchase them?

They are probably just generic 5mm red LEDs on a circuit board inside the plastic. These and many others can be replaced, but the challenge is getting to the LEDs themselves. The plastic enclosure may have been designed as a "throw away", i.e. not internally accessible in an easy manner without cutting etc.

These look like they are molded together as one piece. Options are:

You can git a replacement from SnugTop. Is this not covered under their warranty?
You can tear part the one you have and try to repair it.
Find a replacement with the same measurements fer cheap. You might have to enlarge the opening a bit...
