I did the same thing when I was your age.
You know back when 200 watts was awesome.
Well I got permanent hearing damage from that over the years.
Looks like that noise/shock wave maker will do it in a week.
Whatever happened to listening to music and not just base?

well im pretty sure higher frequency notes are more damaging then the lowers so in truth the sub wont do much more dmg than the tweeters right next to your head

My oldest son had 1200 watts on 2 12" subs in a hatchback Camaro before someone relieved him of it (doesn't pay to advertise nice stuff to stroke your ego)
The damn shockwave off that thing would take your breath away so I surmised from that it could have been bad for your hearing....like.... instantly.... or at least rupture blood vessels in your body.

Any note at any decibal will ruin your hearing. Take it from someone with severe hearing loss, I KNOW!
