1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Can Anyone Identify This Front End Guard?", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Hey everyone. I'm new to the board. Proud owner of a 2007 4Runner!. On to my point though...
Driving around recently I've seen this one Tundra with a really cool front end guard. I don't even know what to consider it (push bar/bull bar/bumper guard etc), I saw it again the other day and snagged 2 pictures. I don't mean to invade anyone's privacy by posting pictures of their truck, but i am dying to know what kind of guard it is. If you can identify it please reply or PM me!

If I were you, I'd leave a message on the guy's car asking him to call you with the info AFTER you wrote about how nice his truck looked. Couldn't hurt and chances are he'll call with the info.

I actually figured out where the lady works on Friday nights (right near my job). I might try to ask her next week but i don't want it to seem stalker-ish since it's a lady. Maybe i'll leave a note...
I believe that is the Smittybuilt predator bar. I went to buy one and have it line-xed for my tundra and 3 different stores told me that smittybuilt went out of business and no one had stock

I've got a catalog somewhere that has that bumper guard in it and I've seen a Tundra in my area with the same guard. I think if I'd seen it before I bought the WAAG guard, I'd be sporting the chrome version myself. I'll see if I can find which catalog it is in over the next couple of days....
