Default ignition switch is messed up 02

on my 02 trd tundra v8 when i try to start it the lock is kind of jammed up or its getting messed up. I am sure there is no pressure in the steering wheel where you have to turn it to remove pressure and then you can turn it, its not that. I have to kind of wiggle the key to get it to work. Anyone replace the switch??? how much dealer charged???

is it the ignition switch that is bad or the ignition lock cylinder?

both of them are eady to replace, you should do it your self and save some $$

ignition switch is the part at the bottom where the cylinder goes, it has the electrical contacts.$80 at dealer. parts only

ignition lock cylinder : where you insert your key.$90 at dealer. parts only. you will get a new separate key for you ignition lock.

I got my replacement cylinder at napa auto parts. I rember it was kinda simple once i got used to being upside down, no special hand tools needed just basic tools.
