1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "was thinking of selling my truck", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
well i was thinking about selling my truck lately, it has nothing to do with the rising gas prices or anything like that. I just dont drive the thing that much so i was going to go down to just the wife's tacoma and my motorcycle. I work about 1.5 miles from my house since im a Marine and i live on base. i was wondering what you guys thought i should be asking for my truck... 10,500 miles, 4x4, auto, cold weather package, 6disc changer cloth interior, all power
Donohoe racing 2.5" fully adjustable coilovers
Camburg Engineering Uni-Ball Upper Control Arm
Kc Light bar and 3 8inch hella rally lights
285/75R16 Bf Goodrich mud terrain tires
Mickey Thompson Classic Lock II's with a simulated black beadlock
Wet okole seat covers
1inch block in the rear
ARE Topper with roof rack sliders installed
Aero Turbine exhaust
let me know what you think. Like I said I dont need money and i am not selling it due to gas prices or anything. I dont ever drive the thing and I am getting ready to enter a commissioning program in the Marine Corps and would like to be able to save some more money while im going through the process.
Thats a nice truck love them wheels, you should be able to get kBB on it.
Id say 20k low miles under three years old, the topper id sell it separate, if its a private sale then they mite want it. Draw back its an a/c 4x4 and gas is up there, personally I like a/c, but people look for DC. Definitely a plus being in Hawaii.
Good luck with it, let us know what you get for it.

yeah this has absolutely nothing to do with money really... just dont drive it so i figured it was kind of pointless to keep insuring ect.
Guess i will probably end up hanging on to the truck since it is seems like a horrible time to sell a truck. will be a ten year old truck with 25k on it at this point
If you can reasonably afford it, hang onto the truck. You will be moved around a lot by The Corps and your truck will be a necessity. Plus, you're going to need something other than the m/c after you get commissioned. Keep the truck and let the future unfold ... you'll be glad you kept it.
