Steering Wheel Control from preset to seek

Anyone have a JBL indash 6 disc w/steering wheel controls that knows how to possibly switch the up/down for tracks and presets to seek station. Also w/a PMI adaptor from LKG LKG Home Page for my Ipod/XM use the steering wheel controls operate the IPOD or XM.

If you just hold the button it will seek, hold the “Up” button and it will seek up, hold the “Down” button and it will seek down.

What the heck is a PMI adaptor?

Its an adaptor to plug satellite radio into a factory head unit. They make them for 6disc as well as single, also with and without steering wheel controls. Just wondered if you could interface it to control the xm radio or an ipod
