Default 2000-2005 Compatibility questions...

I did a search but didn't find the answers...

Ive got a 2000 Tundra X cab. Ive got a line on an 2005 4.7 motor and trans with really low miles...
Can I do this?

I would say no.The 05 has a 5 speed and the vtti.It may be possible but probably not worth all the extra dough it would cost to make it work in your 2000.

Yea I was kinda figuring the same thing......the electronics nightmare would make it nearly impossible....wiring harness compatibility would also make it difficult. Thanks for the input. If anyone is interested tho' theres an 05 engine and trans on ebay for 950.
