Question Remote Programming

I just purchased a remote control to replace a lost one for a 2001 Tundra. The directions said I needed to press the programming button, which is located somewhere in the truck (under dash, seats, etc.). Does anyone know where this is and if that is what I really need to do?
Help!!!

Not sure if the 2001 is anything like the 2003 but here's the instructions for that one:

TOY451

1. Start with the key out of the ignition. Open the driver door (all other doors are closed). Driver door is unlocked (other doors don’t matter).

2. Perform these steps within 5 seconds
1. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) Pull key out
2. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) Pull key out
3. Perform these steps within 40 seconds
1. Close, then open the drivers door.
2. Close, then open the drivers door.
3. Insert the key into the ignition (don’t turn it) and pull it out.
4. Perform these steps within 40 seconds
1. Close, then open the drivers door.
2. Close, then open the drivers door.
3. Insert the key into the ignition and leave in the ignition.
4. Close the drivers door
5. Turn the ignition to ON (as far as you can go without cranking the engine), then back to off .
6. Remove the key from the ignition.
5. Within 3 seconds, the power door locks should lock then unlock automatically indicating successful entry into programming mode. Return to step 1 if the locks do not cycle at this point.

6. Perform these steps within 40 seconds
1. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the transmitter simultaneously for 1.5 seconds
2. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons, press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds, the door locks should lock then unlock once indicating successful programming. If the door locks cycle twice, repeat steps 6a and 6b as the remote was not accepted.
7. Open drivers door

the button should be a little green button that's inside a small hole on the ECU which should be located pretty much directly above the brake pedal.
Look for a white junction box wrapped in electrical tape, the ECU should be above that box and is grey colored and attached to the same bolt as the junction box. Look for the hole where you can see the green button around the seam on the box.
Worst case, you can take off the driver's side kick plate, which is 4 bolts, then remove the vent duct (slide it to one side and pull it out), then you should be able to see the ECU. If you don't have the alarm, you'll have to do some rewiring before the programming will work.
Oh, I should mention that I'm assuming you have the RS3000, FCC ID on the remote should be BAB237131-022 if it's the RS3000.
