Default Re: Electric Fans = Better Mileage

My set up still works flawlessly after almost a year! Haven't had any issues at all.

The one thing it does that I want attempt to fix is: when it's not that hot the fan comes on for just a few seconds then shuts back off (short cycles).

I think it's because of the placement of the VSC sensors in the radiator. I think I need to move them to a different location. I'd rather the fans to come on for a little longer time, when needed.

It's always done this and I'll get to it one day when I've time.

When towing both fans cycle to cool just like a factory car with electric fans.

While NOT towing usually only one fan will cycle to cool just like a factory car with electric fans except at 80% which means VERY quiet and it short cycles. Note that I've two VSC operating one for each fan, thus the reason why one fan will operate when the temp requires it.

ONE OF THE BEST MODS I’VE MADE TO MY TRUCK!
