Default 1.5 inch AAL AND a 1 inch block.

I want to add a little more lift to the 1.5 short AAL that I have added to my 04 Tundra from Toytec, does anyone have any thoughts about ADDING a 1 inch block to the rear in addition to the 1.5 AAL that is already there? I've installed the BPV. My only concern is extending any hoses in the rear besides the brake line. I've contacted Toytec about this and they only recommended that I might extend the rear brake line. Is anyone out there running both? If so did you extend or change anything? Pros vs. cons? Any input would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks guys. By the way I have the 3 inch Toytec up front...

I am running AAL and 1" blocks in the rear of my Tundra. The only thing I have found to be limiting is the shocks so I added extended Bilstein 5100 shocks. Soon I will change out the brake lines but with the shocks mounted, it doesn't reach it's full length. I drive a lot of dirt roads and basically 4x just to get to my house on a daily basis and the suspension works great. I have not had any issues with axle wrap, anything coming loose, or extended beyond limits.

Do you mean that with the AAL and the 1 inch block the stock shock wont even extend far enough to allow both to fit? I just figured with both the AAL and block that the shock would extend, but probably be at full extension therefore when the shock needs to compress (for a bump) there will be a lot of play (rear end feels squishy) because there is no pressure on the rear shock due to it being fully extended. Am I right? Would you recommend adding the block to the AAL? I don't off road mine at all. It's a 4X4, but it only gets used in the winter for snow. I want to install the 1 inch block but I'm scared it's too much lift for the rear end components....

The stock shocks won't fit while the truck is sitting on the ground with both lifts installed, though if you did the first extension (around a corner or even a speed bump would flex the suspension)would pull the shock apart. It is important to have down travel (not just off-roading). The block along with the AAL is just fine for the back end coponents except for the shocks. Hope this helps.
