Factory de-badged 2003?

I'm looking at buying a 2003 Tundra AC Limited. Its a one owner truck with claimed no paint work. I'm concerned because it doesn't have the Limited badges on the side or any badges on the tailgate. The bumpers are color coded which I've seen but never a debadged one.

Was it an option to get a debadged Limited in 2003 or has this thing had some work done?

Didn't realize the badges were adhesive.

Easy way to clean up the truck.

You may have to spring for a Carfax report on it. It's hard to say if the debadging was intentional like many of us have done or a repair shortcut. I'd bet it was intentional.
