So the CV boot problem is really on the 4x4?? If so Kool now i wanna level out my truck with some spacers. Some say 3inch will be higher then the rear so I should be looking for a 2" lift right. O one more thing, the other memeber recommended these lift kits. http://www.ultimateautoaccessories.c...PROD/LVK/52901
I notice it need a shock compressor, other kit is just a spacer on top. Any performance difference?

I have the 3" kit and it does push the front up slightly more than the rear. a 1.5 kit in the rear would be nice. The kit I have has the diff drop. for 110 it was a fair deal. I have used it off road reaching a few fishing holes and it worked well. A little noise from a full extention and compression of the front suspension, but that is to be expected when your going a little too fast over a hole. Overall I am happy. I added it with 285/70 R 17's so with the tire lift it looks good next to a F250 or lifted Rubicon. (co workers comparison). I do have some rub at lock to lock in reverse on I believe the uca but I just stay away from full turn until I get a backspace. Also to be added. BTW Being machined Aluminum you can see the spacer from the tower and it does look clean. Chect out my pictures I just posted and you can see it.

Correct. We do not have any axles rotating our front wheels so no CV's at all to worry about on a 2wd.

That kit looks just like the one I put on my friends truck. A spring compressor is needed and it is a little difficult to squeeze the shock back in to it's spot due to it being longer.

We did not lkift the back of his truck at all and to me it looks 100% level. Here is a pic of it but remember there is a boat on the back weighing the back end down a litttle.

To me a Spacer is a spacer is a spacer. We chose this kit because some of it was an on top style spacer and some was an in the spring type so a little of both. Plkus I got it really cheap. I think all the spacer lifts are going to perform the same. All they do is drop your stock suspension out a little more making your truck ride higher.

let us know if you have any iother questions.

im a newbie here but after reading like half a threads in here i agree with BJ bilstein 5100 is the best way to go its not too expensive like toyotec thst r 699$ and u dont have to intall no diff drop or do the " hose clamp " mode to prevent problems in future. my quastion is. Is bilstein 5100 is a good way to go if u planing on plowing ?

OIC, excactly what does the diff drop do. I am thinking that if you drop whatever that is, it lowers the angle of the cv boot so is not all stressed out....

Correct. it lowers the front drivetrain soi the CV's do not see such extreme angles. Since we (2wd) have no front drive train we do not use it.

I am at work now and on this site, a classic car site and checking in on jet ski and golfcart forums. I work for a Software company handling the orders right now. Moved from working on cars and stuff to this. Sucks because I am an outside person but it pays more, kills your body less and has much better room for growth and benefits.

I saw this on your post but not sure of the best answer for you. For the back I would do an AAL just because it may let you control that load better but it may ride stiffer when empty. I would not load more weight just because you have the AAL. The Tundra is made to haul a certain amount and just adding some AAL's will not allow you to haul alot more. just may help with what you already haul. Make sense?

Not sure which Toytec shocks you are talking about but I think the camburg arms are a good idea if you can afford them. They give you a little more drop out so some added travel and the uniball is stronger then the ball joint. That said I do not off road my Tundra and it is lifted and I am running the stock a arms. I personally do not think it is worth it to me to have on a pavement only truck but hey if you got the money it is an improvement over stock.

Yes. I would. It is cheap and helps with the CV angles. There are no draw backs in your situation so I would install the diff drop.
