Default Filing a complaint with Toyota

How would one go about filing a complaint with Toyota??? All my chrome trim, front grill, ect. has rust spots on them. My 3yr warranty is about to expire.

Thanks

Ron

Take it in 3 times to service and complain about it all 3 times and you might be surprised how much attention it will get, something to do with 3rd time is the charm? Make sure they write you up all 3 times! GL

Thanks HOG. I have a case # now and my dealer is going to get a hold of me. Scarry thing about that is that the dealer here in East Wenatchee is the ONLY one in the whole state of Washington that is NOT a PREFERRED DEALER. We will see how it pans out.

I also complained about the paint chipping/ scratching easily. I have owned vehicles and the paint on them was tough but the Tundra seems to be wimpy in the paint dept.

get names, employee ID#'s, times & date's you called and yes, open up a case #. also ask your dealership to set up a appointment with a toyota corperate rep. which once you have a claim/case #, they should and usually notifiy your dealership to try to resolve any & all issue's.

don't give up, & don't settle, until you feel you got what you think is fair.
keep track ,put in all in a note book, who what when where why how because.
good luck, gorilla

Dealer refused to do anything about all the rust...says to bad so sad...mag chloride is the problem, wash your truck. Rear bumper is not rusted none of my other vehicles are rusted, truck is garaged and washed often...mag cloride up near the hood on the chrome??? Bunch of crap!!
Tailgate is coming apart at the inside corners...said to bad so sad again...gave me some crap about it not being an integrity issue only a "looks" issue. Toyota will definately be hearing from me

call your dealership request to see the toyota factory rep. if they tell you a BS story. get whom ever you spoke to, there name, date & time.
and than call the cpmlaint line with your case # and tell them the same thing. especially what the dealership told you.
they will endeed have a factory rep. usually once every month go to each dealership to address each and every problem. you will have to set up a appointment, but make it no matter what. talk to them directly, even privately so you can speak your mind. go through your whole truck from front to back, even under side. look for everything. make a list . and i'm sure many if not all issue's will be addressed.
good luck,
gorilla

aside from the frame I do not believe rust is a warrantied item..... especially in an area with snow and salt. Metal rust is not taken care of.... no getting around that
