Default Door Trim Mod

Well, not really a mod but something you can do when that time comes. On my 2000 after sitting in the sun and being in the element for over 8yrs the trim on the outside of the window started to flake and peel, so I decided to rip it all off, and IMO it looks better. What do you guys think? Anyone else have this happen?

Yep it's easy call going to your part's guy and getting the trim molding's they cost around $25 and easy to pry off your door skin as you see. Not sure i like that to each there own..

Looks good, wonder if the bare metal will corrode though.

I think it looks good, but it doesn't really match the rest of the truck.

In the diy section you'll find my original post, on replacing the molding.
Thanks to "Tundradrenalin" he though my post was worth posting in the diy section, kinda feel humbly honored.

Anyway heres the link if you want to see. Exterior front door trim molding

BTW. You have the best looking color.

Thanks for the replies. I like it, it matchs my side mirrors, bumbers, and my wheels. It would have matched my badges, but all thats gone. I'll take the $25 and put in my gas tank.
