1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Door Trim Mod", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
Well, not really a mod but something you can do when that time comes. On my 2000 after sitting in the sun and being in the element for over 8yrs the trim on the outside of the window started to flake and peel, so I decided to rip it all off, and IMO it looks better. What do you guys think? Anyone else have this happen?

I think it looks good, but it doesn't really match the rest of the truck.
In the diy section you'll find my original post, on replacing the molding.
Thanks to "Tundradrenalin" he though my post was worth posting in the diy section, kinda feel humbly honored.
Thanks for the replies. I like it, it matchs my side mirrors, bumbers, and my wheels. It would have matched my badges, but all thats gone. I'll take the $25 and put in my gas tank.
