Good points !

I was recommending Hubcentric to avoid all the sticky issues pointed out above.

For simplicity's sake and safety, hubcentric wheels that fit on the stock hub are a no brainer

in other words i need to call pro comp and see if these wheels will work with my tundra....

I called 4 wheel parts and they said to ordeer the ones ending in 83 part number which are lug centric....


OK WHO IN HERE HAS SOME PRO COMP WHEELS 16x8 WITH 4"bs THE 1069 ALLOYS WHO HAS THEM??? wHAT SIZE TIRE YOU HAVE AND U HAVE LUG OR HUB CENTRIC???? i WOULD LIKE TO avoid the off road shops as those guys are usually more expensive than regular tire shops....

OK... So I just put a set of Pro Comps on my truck. Given they are not the same size (see my sig), but should be the same as far as lug/hub centric. When I went up to 4wheelparts, this is what they gave me: PXA8089-7983, which are NOT Hub centric.

Edit: My wheels are 17 X 9, -6mm offset

From your original post, I think you will be fine, even without spacers, since your truck is leveled. I don't think you will rub with 285's, but if you do, it will be just a smidgen. Just make sure they give you the 108 Hub bore wheels. You can buy the same rim but with a smaller bore, but that is for Chevy, not Toyota.
