1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "3" Toytec Problems???", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
I have the 3 inch toytec lift and my truck looks good, rides good as ****, and i have 10000 miles on them and no problems. I have done alot of research and they are just as good as regular lifts. if someone has a problem with them they either have a ****ty mechanic, they put it in themselves and didnt know what they were doing, broken parts were weak to begin with, or they just cant drive and hit a bunch of **** with the tires and break joints. I go off roading with my truck and mud bog the **** out of it and not one think as broken after 125,000 miles.
you need yoga

To each his own, but there are a lot of people who have had BOTH spacers and coilovers/ adjustable shocks and say there is a big difference in ride comfort. I thought my spacers were great as well until about 18,000 - 20,000 miles when the truck rattled like crazy and sounded like it was gonna fall apart when I'd hit a bump in the road.

Its kinda hard to put those in wrong, I had them put in at 5k so i doubt there was anything wrong with the truck.
Anybody who thinks spacers ride good have not ridden in a truck with coilovers...
If the spacers work for you great , just tyring to save some peeps the hassle that i went through.
