Default 3" Toytec Problems???

I have a 2003 Tundra AC 2wd. I was wondering if anyone has the 3" toytec lift with AAL on their ride. Have you had any complaints with it?

I bought 3" kit back in 05 when i bought my truck, asked them if it was ok for a 4wd, they said ya, no prob .

Less than 1500k later both inner cv's torn...besides that it rode like sh!t.

I don't recommend spacers at all, yes i know there cheap, but you get what you pay for "toytek"

Save your money for a couple of months and buy co's...just my 2cents.

Well I only have a 2wd so I'm not to concerned about breaking cv's . I just don't want to spend 800-1000 bucks on coilovers when I don't do much offroad driving.

bilstein makes adjustiable shocks i think there the 5100 series, but there basically the same thing as coilovers you just use your stock springs, they lift the truck from .5 - 2.75, i just bought them and they are alot better then buying some cheap *** spacers

And if I bought the bilsteins, I could just buy an AAL seperate right? That way i could put the shocks at their max adjustment and not sit nose up??

Whether you offroad or not, spacers make the truck ride like cr@p.

Alright, thanks guys. From this it seems I'll spend a little bit more and buy the bilstein shocks with the AAL or even the rear shocks.

I have the 3 inch toytec lift and my truck looks good, rides good as ****, and i have 10000 miles on them and no problems. I have done alot of research and they are just as good as regular lifts. if someone has a problem with them they either have a ****ty mechanic, they put it in themselves and didnt know what they were doing, broken parts were weak to begin with, or they just cant drive and hit a bunch of **** with the tires and break joints. I go off roading with my truck and mud bog the **** out of it and not one think as broken after 125,000 miles.
