Default Finally got the D.C. Back!!!! W/ pics in the foto album!!!

Sunnymabeech!
The body shop called me last night to tell me the DC was ready for pickup! It only took about 9 weeks and cost the insurance company (Safeco) $11,600.00 to repair it!...My cost was about 275 bucks. It looks and rides like it should....it seemed a little sluggish at first but I think the battery was dead or dis-connected for a while. I'm sure a couple days driving and it'll remember the UNICHIP, etc.... I had a billet grill installed instead of the stock one and since the front suspension was apart I had the shop install my 5100 Billys.....they even used the boots from the old ones! Two new Terra Grapplers up front (one was ruined from the crash and I opted to put another on...try to make it as good as it can be! )
Seems Ok so far.......just one problem....the positive battery connector was loose.....apparently the shop cleaned the posts but neglected to tighten the pos terminal....I didn't notice this until I got to work and parked it to show a friend. Went to start it and got a big click…..twisted the pos terminal around a bit and it fired right up, but now the scan gage is dead……maybe a fuse or ? I hope it ain’t fried….it was working on the drive in. I’d go look at it but right now it’s 115 outside……! I’ll wait till later.
It sure feels good driving the DC again, instead of the wife’s little Honda civic…..I do think I’ll miss the 38 MPG though!
