Default 5100 leveling unit vs. 5100 coil over kit

Other than price and the ability to adjust (coilover) on the truck what is the difference/advantage/disadvantage to the coilover vs. adjustable shock? If I'm not going to be off road but want a level front would $200 worth of leveling shocks be all I need?

5100 Coilover

Adjustable Bilstein

Yes, the coilovers look sweet to me too and when I have the money, that will be my next mod. But $200 5100's will do it but you should get a differential drop and still do new hose clamps on the end of your CV boots, so as they won't leak. My .02

I just have a 2WD so I don't think I need a DifDrop, I'm not familiar with hose clamps for the CV boot. What is that?

They are just a typical metal hose clamp from a hardware store that you can tighten down on each end of the CV boot to prevent the grease from being thrown out. You have a 2wd though so you will not have to worry.

The 5100 kit with the snap rings is probably the best all-around solution for the money.

The diff drop and CV thing doesn't matter unless you have 4WD.
