Default 00 tundra turns off in gear????????

Do any of you have or have had this problem? The truck idles fine in park and nuetral, but when i put it in a gear like reverse or drive it turns off. Somebody told me it was the tranny but im not sure. Can anybody give me some info or point me in the right direction? Aby info would be helpfull. Thanks

A little more info would be helpful. But the first thing to do is clean the throttle body and MAF.

try disconnecting your neutral switch to see what happens, its located on your tranny on the passenger side, then switch gears , you will not be able to see the light indicator so keep your foot on the brake. this is to eliminate the chances of it being an electrical issue, if still does it it maight very well be your tranny. try that and post back results

i had the same prob,thats when the trans went,i replaced it with a rebuilt Jasper,75000 warranty on it,so now i will really beat the crap out of it
