Default Fading pads on Challenger step boards

Anybody know of a remedy for restoring the black step pads on the running boards on my Tundra? Thought about using amor-all, but the thought of my wife or kids slipping on them wasn't worth the risk. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

a friend of mine uses the turtle wax ice polish, but now he wants to try the interior stuff. i would think it would be slippery as well.

Head on over to the detailing forums for some answers.

I'd go with a protectant, let it sit for a day or so real thick on the surface, then buff dry the next day.
