I like the idea of having a mystery truck. Easy enough to debadge your truck but finding something to do with the logo on the grille is a little harder. I could replace the whole grille but the only one I like is the mesh grille on trdparts.com and it's over $200. So I came up with this solution.
1- 12"X24" sheet polished aluminum diamond tread--$24
raise hood and pop out logo. trace logo oval onto back side of tread plate.
should be 11cm tall and 16cm long.
2- 1/8 bolts and nuts (had'em on hand)
after you cut the oval. drill two holes where the clips for the logo went
1- Tennessee all Metal Auto Emblem $18 shipped
add logo of your choice
I took the diamond tread sheet to the auto hobby shop on base. They set me up with a the ban saw and grinder. After watching me struggle the guy asked if it was OK if he did the work. I gladly let him. It took him about 30 mins. I cleaned up and thank him. I think he felt sorry for me.
I'm waiting on the UT Vols Logo to come in. I'll post that picture later, but I thought I'd go ahead and post this in case someone is as bored as I am and needs a project.
Enjoy
Update:
Logo came in:

looking "Good" !
I really enjoy using our Base Hobby shop, only 3 bucks per four to use lift and lotta old school retired guys that are really willing to lend you a hand! Only issue is ours does not open till noon and close at 20:00! Their tools are from another century and i asked to borrow a torque wrench once and they gave me one that looked like it had been kicked from ABQ to Lackland! Missing pats from handle and never had a calibration dome on it! So i went to Sears and bought my own!

The LOGO was a nice and heavy. Real chromed metal. I don't know how it will be in the long haul but its a nice fit and finish and it made it to my door in about 3 days.
