Default 05 Tundra driver door won't auto-unlock/lock. actuator?

hi, I tried searching and think I am on to the problem.

Our problem is that our 2005 Tundra's driver side door will not unlock/lock when pressing our alarm remote transmitter or the button on the door. The other three doors still unlock/lock just fine. When I press the button on the door I can see it trying to flip the lock. It acts like it is stuck. Of coarse the door locks fine using the key. I was thinking, from searching, that it may be the actuator?

Could anyone help me with any info they may have?

thanks.

ps. the alarm is a audiovox pirsuit pro9232a.

Did you ever get it resolved? I'm having the same problem but with a 2005 Sequoia.

no, we have not had this fixed. Will be taking the truck in for a oil change in a couple days and they will look at it.

The driver door will sometimes work fine when its cold outside, but never when it starts to warm up. Really weird. Its like the actuator just doesn't have enough 'umph' to flip the switch.
