Default Brake sound. 03 Tundra

Hey there.

Recently I was driving with my windows rolled down and started to hear a squeaking noise coming from my '03 Tundra EXT Cab. So I started to listen out for it more.

I came to the realization that I only hear it when I am coasting to a slow, and is coming from my brakes. The noise goes away when I apply pressure to my brakes.

I've talked to a few buddies who own the same year Tundra, and they have the same issue. Except one of them says the noise is a lot louder than man. Any ideas? My brakes have enough on the pads and rotors too.

This is likely the pad warning tab. It is on the back pad. Look closely at this pad, if you still think you have plenty of life left, pull the pad out and take a look at the tab. This is a metal scraper that hangs off the edge of the pad. It may be bent in to close and rubbing . Bend it out to a reasonable amount.
If this is not it let us know there are other possibilities, this is just the most likley.
