Exclamation 2000 Tundra Rear End Noise and Issues- HELP!

Hello All,
Ive normally been able to find the information needed by searching, but Im not sure if I have missed it or what.

I have a 2000 Tundra 2WD with 189k miles on it. My only one main issue I had was the transmission going out at 101k miles. Changed that out. And has been great since.
I havent been on top of the maintenance of the differential, and last night it went out. It slips then engadges, and makes really loud clunking sounds...seems like Im missing a tooth or something. So my question is. I would like to get the part from a wrecking yard. Would I be getting the full rear end, axles and all as well? Or is it just the diff? Also I am willing to try and tackle the job myself, I would like to know how labor intesive is the job. Is there a DIY write up that someone has for this? Hard to justify dropping $400 on labor.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!
Im in Southern Cali, and if someone has a reccomended shop/ person to lend some helpful words of wisdom, that would be greatly appreciated as well.

Thank you!!!!!

If you can find a complete diff with the gears and bearings installed then, it's pretty much plug and play for install. No need to purchase a complete housing with diff.

You can do this with just minimal tools. No special service tools required.
