Lightbulb 05' DC Gauge cluster, any easy way to customize it or change out the faceplate?

MY buddy Agent409 will probably answer to this thread... but I was in the process of changing all of my lights on my truck to LEDs and HID for the headlights and etc. Pretty much all I have left to change out are my Reverse lights and rear turn signals that are in the mail as I speak and then my gauge cluster. Agent and I pulled out my guage cluster to swapped the light out for leds and etc when we found out that on the 05 models, they already soldered on warm white LEDs on the cluster and the face has the green tint on it. Now there is a guy who has sanded down the faceplate and etc and soldered in new bright LEDs and etc, but i was curious if ANYONE else had an idea or a solution to getting rid of the green color on the dash other than sanding down the faceplate or sending it in to professional and not having a vehicle to drive for more than a week while the process is done?? any suggestions would be appreciated... the only time i wish i had a 04 model where there were bulbs were in the gauge cluster and easy to replace!! GRRRR so plz let me know! i want something fast yet not too expensive! i mean i just did buy $50 pair of reverse lights for my truck, but they are 5W LEDs so ya they are bright!!
