Default Replacing Coolant Hoses

My truck is now 5 years old so as a preventative measure I am replacing all hoses that carry coolant. I have the 4.7L. There is a small hose that runs to the throtle body and then a U shaped hose that runs from the top to bottom of the TB. Does anyone know if both these hoses are for coolant? I can't find the U shaped one on the parts list I am using.

If the hose is running into the top of the Throttle body 10-1 it is a vacuum hose but to check just pull it off and see if the inner part of the hose is wet.

I would settle for upper and lower Radiator hoses and Thermostat, only others i know of are on the oil filter cooler and i would not mess with them unless they were leaking! I will do a search and see if i can come up with the 2 you were talking about? The heater hoses can also be replaced i think! I will explore!
pdf explains how to drain block and use no water to drain block, and use only specd Toyota Coolant that is in you owners manual.
If your coolant is 5 years old it's time to change and Dealership has a pre-mix 50-50 Super Long Life that ya should use!

Thanks for the information. I can't seem to find the heater hoses in the parts list either. I order over the internet and pick up at Toyota of Dallas to save money. I asked them to include all hoses that carry coolant so hopefully they will find what I missed.

The "U" hose on the TB is a coolant hose to warm the TB and keep it from freezing up. Some guys bypass this hose to get a cooler air charge...not a good idea as the TB could freeze up.
