1Gen-TundraGeneral discussion forum for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra.
This is a discussion thread titled "Lifted 2004 Aceess Cab", within the 1Gen-Tundra forum, part of the Truck Forums category.
The shop was really slow today so we installed the Bilstein 5100 kit and 1" rear blocks I got from Wheeler's. I aligned the truck on our rack and voila... The truck rides MUCH better and feels more compliant than before. I ordered a set of TRD Ironman wheels, we'll mount a set of 285/75r16's on those and the truck will be complete... for now
BTW if anyone knows where I can locate a set of the TRD flares I would be much obliged!

The notch on the front's on the 5100 series (my Tundra 4wd) are 2nd for the highest postion from top . I wanted to go to max but i deceided against that.

I have searched alot but haven't found OEM style flares. I have used Bushwacker in the past but without the rubber edging they always looked "unfinished". I will definately check out the flares you mentioned. +1 on the chrome... I hate it on all cars. I was hoping to find the Ironman grill but I need to give up at some point and move on!
go top notch and AAL/blocks FTW! OP truck looks clean! I like it as is without flares

Did you have to do any drops of any sort? Or was it just the new 5100's, blocks, and alignment? Also will you need to get spacers to fit 285's? I have an '03 Tundra, same style, and was looking to do the same exact thing. Thanks
he has aftermarket wheels.. factory wheels need spacers for 285s

lol, ya but they have the OEM backspacing, most likely yes, you will need spacers. IF you get them on without rubbing the UCA you'll most likely rub and lock left or right

Is(ivan steward) grill wouldn't fit your Tundra year anyway's it was used from the 00-02. 2003 has the new look bumper and deeper retained grill .Personally i would buy the dallas sport grill and be done with it. I'll try to find a link for you and edit my thread.
