what you guys think about it ? whats the cost ? hows it on as a snow tire ?
thnks.
I have them 285/70/17. Like them so far 10k miles. Lotsa road, wet, water crossing and mud, they have done well. No Hydroplaning. Haven't encountered snow yet but imagine they would do well.
Have gone through only one winter, but this past winter was the worse one on record for decades, and these tires were AWESOME! Barely if ever needed 4WD, but with my OEM Dunlops I had prior, 4WD was necessary nearly every time it snowed.
I love my Revos. I haven't gone through a winter with them, but I've gone through heavy rain and slick roads where I didn't slip a corner once. Pretty smooth and I think they look agressive enough. I went with them because of Tireracks reviews. Sure they aren't number one, but look at the total miles and number of reviews. If you look at the reviews for the four top tires, there aren't that many and way fewer miles. I went with the passenger not the LT. Whatever you decide let us know.

If you are talking about the Revos they are awesome Best all around all/terrain tire I have ever had. Great in winter on snow and ice, they are also quite good in mud, sand and on wet roads. As Cian mentioned above I also rarely have to use 4WD anymore except for severe conditions. The Revos are also reasonably quiet on the highway for an A/T tire. Some people complain that they wear out too quickly but I am very satisfied with mine and they are wearing quite well. Personally I prefer a good tire with great traction that wears a little quicker than a rock hard crappy tire that lasts forever but performs poorly otherwise. IMO winter time is where the Revos really shine compared to other A/T tires I have used, the tread compound does not get rock hard in the cold and is the next best thing to getting real dedicated ice and snow winter radials. Highly recommended.
I'm very happy with my Revos. They handled the harsh winter very well.
I put them on my Tundra at about 10K miles on the odometer. Here is a pic of the Revos and the garbage Rugged Trails that came with the truck and had NO traction.
I also totally agree with Diego's comment above about rather having a tire that wears a bit faster but gives superior traction as opposed to a hard long lasting tire that don't provide grip.
the Revo's are the best tire I ever used in the snow !!!!!
They work great in all weather to be honest.I got 45,000 on my last set of revo's
and my only complaint would be they got kinda noisy as they got old(thats nit picking too)...
I would recommend them in heartbeat if you live in mass

Ditto. I didn't want to change out my spare tire to match the larger size of the LTs. However, now that I'm considering getting (or renting) a trailer, I am wishing I got the LTs which come in 265/70r17.
I went with the 75 series LTs. One advantage the LTs have other than higher load rating is that they also have more tread depth than the P series do. LTs have 15/32" tread depth and the Ps I believe come with 13/32" tread depth.
My truck had the Revos on it when I bought it about 3.5 years ago. I have no idea how many miles were on them before I got it, but I got almost 40K miles on them after I bought it. They were great tires. The only complaint I could have (and as someone else said, this is really nit-picking) is that they got a little (and it really wasn't bad at all) noisy when they got old. Mine were excellent in the snow and rain. Also, they were LT tires.
The only reason I didn't get them again is because they were kind of hard to find around here and by the time I figured in shipping, mounting & an alignment, I figured out that it was actually cheaper for me to buy tires locally than it was to buy them off the net. So now, as of about 3 weeks ago, I have BF Goodrich T/A KO's which I'm really happy with so far, but I haven't been able to put them to any serious testing yet.
Can't speak to snow, as we don't get much in Mississippi.
However, for all around A/T tire with good ride, good on wet roads & Ok for going back & forth to hunting camp they were excellent. They ARE NOT aggressive in the mud however.
+++ in that I got 80K miles out of the set I had on my F250 4x4.
